Diseases-
Sometimes your Pikmin may touch something bad, or nasty looking and it'll get sick, as of right now there are no diseases, but eventually some will come. And if your Pikmin isn't killed and goes into the onion, it'll infect other Pikmin.
This isn't always a bad thing. If you can get your Pikmin cured and ask for a sample of the disease, you can infect other creatures maybe even someone else's Pikmin.
Clans-
Yes clans, since most areas allow you to have up to three captain's at a time, you can team up and make a clan, share the treasures, defeat bigger creatures! Use team work!
Pikmin v.s. Other Pikmin-
Pikmin will only attack other Pikmin when the captain commands so, the Pikmin wouldn't normally do it, but they are loyal to their captain and will attack anything he commands.
Your Own Shop-
In the Shop section you can sell your own items. You can sell anything you want, that includes Onions, Pikmin, Ship Parts, Ship Upgrades, even Creatures you have stored in your Ship.
If you want to sell stuff, just open up a Shop topic, put the items that you have for sale, and put the price of the item.
Points-
You'll notice in the database that Pikmin have attack, speed, and health points, other creatures do as well.
The higher the points, the more strong they are in that area.
Attack: 1, would be that the Pikmin does 1 damage per turn.
Speed: 1, It's not very fast but not very slow, the Pikmin will be able to stay within range unless your run for a long time, then you must wait for them to catch up.
Health: 1, That's how much damage it can take before it's killed, some Pikmin will have more then 1 Health Point, if a Pikmin as more then 1 health point and is damaged, it'll heal itself after around two turns. So no worries.
Those rules apply to creatures as well.
Special Skills-
You will also have special skills, you'll gain more as you grow but, the one you first start out with is throwing.
At throwing level 1, when you throw your first Pikmin at a target it will do 1 damage, and then it'll attack for real, doing even more damage. As you level up your throwing power will increase.
Your Pikmin Onions also have levels. When an Onion gains a level your Pikmin will be able to do more things.
Pikmin Withdrawing-
When you take out Pikmin from your Onion, it'll automaticly spit out the stronger Pikmin first, the Flowers then the Leaves. There are no Seed Pikmin in this game. You can take out Leaves if you want, but if you just say that you take out your Pikmin, then it'll bring out the Flowers first, and once there no more Flowers, it'll give you the Leaves.
Captain Ranks-
Captain Ranks are simple, the better you become in the Pikmin world, then the higher ranks you'll recieve.
Bronze - Silver - Gold - Crystal - Louie - Olimar - ???
Evolution-
This is the more 'fun' part of the Game. I feel this way anyways. Well, the Pikmin World has creatures, and environments that evolve incredibly fast. It might not happen to fast, but it will. Let's say you start attacking Bulborbs with Red Pikmin. After many days, some of them might begin to go into the water, so your Red Pikmin won't harm them. That's the basic idea. You'll see as time goes by.
'Special' Areas-
Sometimes along your journey, you may find a special item that'll create a whole new area. Or perhaps you'll stumble open a cave. Make sure to use your head sometimes.
Defeating an Unknown Enemy-
Sometimes you'll find yourself fighting an enemy that isn't in the Database. DON'T WORRY. I will tell you it's health, and some of it's basic attacks, you'll get the full fledge discription of that creature after you defeat it. And when I add it to the Database, I'll enter a little side note that'll say who discovered this creature. This same rule applys with treasures, I'll tell you how many Pikmin you'll need to carry it. You'll find out how many Pokos it's worth once your Pikmin enter it into the ship.
Flower Pikmin-
There are several ways to get your Pikmin to turn into flowers. The first way, is to leaf them in the ground for a long time and not pluck them. The other way is to find nectar and let them drink it.
More to come..
